8th of July

POSTED ON: Tuesday, July 9, 2013 @ 12:11 AM | 0 comments

Hello, everyone! Been looking for an application that would make blogging handy anywhere and anytime, and here it is. Bloggeroid, one-step blogging for Android users like me. Such a pay-off.

Anyway, just as I finished a report last week, here comes another one on the prowl. Got hooked into watching a lot of TV series lately and I'm not sure if I can actually detach myself just yet and focus on working. Luckily, as it is needed ASAP, I was able to do the first part of it tonight. While watching Walking Dead - my strategy to distract myself from the horribly gross scenes. It's not like I don't like the series, why am I even watching it right? Just can't take all the violence, and mind you, I am such a coward when it comes to zombies. I was once in Enchanted Kingdom, there were fake walkers around and as one of them came near me, I started to scream my lungs out. Trust me, I am not a fan of how they look. And sure am not also a fan of a thumping heart. I get scared easily. And after finally finishing S02E01, I can now go to sleep.

Have a restful night, everyone. I hope to tell you something interesting about my life soon. Adios!

One Friday night...

POSTED ON: Saturday, June 9, 2012 @ 12:28 AM | 0 comments

It has been a long day, at work, at home, preparing different materials for the students, taking care of my dog, having some rest time, and spending time with my family. To tell you honestly, I never imagined I'd be able to go back here and write something today. After doing all these things, I felt fulfilled. Fulfilled with my life as a daughter, as a teacher, as a simple human. But nevertheless, I can't help but feel sad for humanity. Sad for a few little (kind of immature) reasons.

As I finished watching television a while ago, I felt sad because I suddenly realized how teens nowadays have become hugely engulfed by media, on the way they think and they act. Remember when our national hero said youths are the hope of our country. What happened now? If this is the kind of teens that would dominate our country, how could we still get and reach the dreams we're aiming for as a nation?

Then I shifted to Twitter, and started seeing all these women who scrutinized Myrtle (Yeah, just to remind you I'm not a Myrtle fan but I'm extremely bothered about it) for slapping Yves. Aren't we all women who doesn't wish anything like that to happen to us? Aren't we all women who should be understanding each other? It's just sad how people could be so judgmental and hypocritical these days. They often forget to put their selves on others' shoes. Isn't that the same reason why we all throw fights against each other? Isn't that the same reason why all of us can't put the world into peace?

Weird questions entered my mind. Then I remembered something about friendship - and how some people has the wrong view and definition of it. I'm not saying mine is the correct one but at least this is defined based on the seemingly right ideas. Friendship is not measured by how many days you and your "friend" are together, but its based on how you have been together with your friend by heart. I can superficially say you are my friend because you spend your afternoons with me, but do you really spend it with me? That profound question arises. Think of what it means to you. You can be together, just goofing around, making fun of people, thinking that you're having the time of your life, but after all that, could you share your problems and really be of presence to your so-called-friend? How can a lot of people stand having fake relationships with people and calling it real, still. Friendship is not being always available all the time, but maybe being attentively available all the time. Ironic, it may seem, but I know people reading my blog are smart. They'll know what that means.

When people finally understands what and how friendship really is then maybe that's the only time they can think  fairly and unbiased among all.

Then I finally noticed myself, where am I wrong? I guess for watching Pinoy Big Brother and getting too affected, for releasing my tiredness into an even tiring and senseless problem of getting the world in array. The world will never be in a systematic alignment - it will never be fair and organized. The least we can do as humans is to keep understanding each other, doing the best that we can do to be of service to other people, keeping our positive spirits open and wide, acting as to what we're made to be - humans, and to grasp tightly our faith in God.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

What happened to tomorrow? I obviously end up telling the story after 3 days. Be ready to get bombarded with pictures and stories, of course. 24th to 25th was a blast! It was certainly a night to remember because I didn't actually expect so much of it at first and the night just ended up surprising me! But before I tell you all of that, I should talk about how my day went first. Still referring on the 24th.

I went to South by meeting Karmie, tito, and tita at SM Makati. Tito and tita left us at F21 so we ended up getting clothes everywhere and just trying them. I had a favorite outfit among all, it was the gray spaghetti strap and white cover up, but wasn't able to get it! I think the whole outfit was worth 900Php. There are also dresses and shoes! I can't buy all of them yet though. Can somebody give me F21 gift certificates when I graduate? 5,000 worth, if you may. I've been deprived of shopping clothes that I really want for years! Not my mom's fault definitely, we just don't have the budget yet and of course unless it's her taste, I can't have whatever I put my eye on. Anyway... Karmie asked me what she could give Charles' family when she visits the day after and we thought of giving a cake from Conti's. So upon arriving home, we left again going to Nuvali. Nuvali's such a nice place! It kinda feels good to be there. Boats, fishes, the lake.

Before we bought the cake, we dropped by Nuvali's bazaar! It was small but definitely there are good buys. Kind of pricey, though. Accessories, bags, shoes, surprisingly awesome things were there.

Oh, and if you're that thoughtful to think of what you'll give me on my 20th birthday... I have a picture of what I want. Not exactly with prints, I can handle one without.

After that, we went home and slept for a while. We then had dinner prepared by tita Nita which is so yummy, btw. I kept eating until 2 in the morning. SERIOUSLY? I thought I was thinking of diet and getting skinny... On second thought, forget about it! It's the most beautiful time of the year! Hello, I'm not in authority to spoil that. Diet is nothing when it comes to the right occasions! All things said and done, I had fun this Christmas and New Year 2012. My family never fails to make it all fantastic for me. Cheers, everyone!

Happy 25th of December!

Well, what can I say? It's that time of the year to be jolly, happy, and merry! All those words meant the same thing but whatever. I hope you all spent it with your family wisely and had lots of fun! A while ago, my cousins and I drank with our grandma and aunt. We were just laughing while in the heap of intoxication and it felt right somehow. We weren't complete, a lot of them are missing but life's just a matter of how you make it, either simple or complicated it's your choice. Either way, you can enjoy the very best of every moment that passes you. This is how we spend the holidays, everybody. I hope you have fun as much as we do! Merry Christmas and don't ever forget the main purpose of this event. It's the time to be fat, yes. Don't worry, everybody else is getting fatter!

Happy Holidays! Supposed to tell you about the day I just had but I decided to just do it tomorrow. Enjoy!
